Job summary

Sweco UK Ltd is seeking a Senior Civil Infrastructure Engineer to lead complex drainage and highway infrastructures from inception through construction. The role spans multiple offices including Ipswich, London, and Solent, with hybrid working options.

You will drive project delivery, prepare technical submissions, and mentor junior staff while coordinating with clients, contractors, and authorities to achieve successful outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (Masters preferred) and chartered or Incorporated engineer status where possible.
• Proven experience leading complex drainage and highway infrastructure projects.
• Strong knowledge of flood risk assessment, environmental standards, and construction documentation.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and delivery of infrastructure schemes from inception to completion.
• Manage project documentation, reports, and technical submissions (planning to construction).
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and clients to ensure project success.
