Sweco UK Ltd is seeking a Civil Infrastructure Design Engineer to deliver drainage and highway schemes across Ipswich, London or Solent offices. You will coordinate with utilities and multidisciplinary teams, producing design and documentation for planning and construction.

The role requires a strong background in flood risk, drainage, and highways, with proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D and drainage software. A relevant civil engineering degree is preferred, with potential for hybrid working.

Qualifications

• Good understanding of flood risk management principles.
• Experience in drainage, earthworks and highways design.
• Experience with infrastructure project design and standards.

Responsibilities

• Design and detail drainage and infrastructure schemes for highways, residential, commercial projects and CNS infrastructure.
• Perform hydraulic and hydrological calculations and prepare calculation packages.
• Prepare reports, drawings and submissions for planning and construction, and manage project portals.
