Involve Recruitment Ltd, on behalf of a leading Tier 1 civil engineering contractor, seeks a Senior Engineer to join the project delivery team on a five-year framework across South Wales, centred on wastewater infrastructure upgrades. You will provide technical leadership, oversee setting out, surveying, and ensure delivery to drawings and quality standards.

You will hold a Degree in Civil Engineering and have significant site-based experience, with a track record of managing civil projects.

Qualificações

• Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• Significant site-based experience within civil engineering or heavy infrastructure.
• Experience delivering major civil engineering projects, ideally within water, wastewater, utilities or other heavy infrastructure environments.
• Strong ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
• Strong technical, organisational and communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Provide engineering support and technical leadership across site activities.
• Ensure works are delivered in accordance with Health & Safety, Environmental and Quality requirements.
• Manage and coordinate engineering activities across your section of the project.
• Review and interpret construction drawings, specifications and technical information.
• Undertake and oversee setting out, surveying and dimensional control activities.
• Monitor construction activities against drawings, specifications and programme requirements.
• Work closely with Site Managers, Section Engineers, Supervisors and subcontractors to coordinate delivery.
• Identify and resolve technical issues, escalating where appropriate.
• Assist with the preparation and review of RAMS, ITPs, quality documentation and inspection records.
• Maintain accurate engineering records and ensure relevant documentation is completed.
• Support the management of design changes, technical queries and site instructions.
• Monitor progress and contribute to programme reporting.
• Assist with the planning and coordination of upcoming works.
• Provide guidance and support to junior engineers and other members of the engineering team.
• Contribute to the successful delivery of projects throughout the five-year South Wales framework.
