Job summary

Involve Recruitment Ltd. is sourcing two Section Engineers for a leading Tier 1 civil engineering contractor delivering major UK infrastructure projects across South Wales.

You will join project delivery teams to support safe, efficient works on a five-year framework, focusing on wastewater assets and large-scale site operations. The role offers exposure to setting out, QA/QC, and collaboration with Site Managers, Supervisors and Project Engineers to maintain programme, quality and compliance

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent required.
• Site-based civil/structural engineering experience.
• Experience on heavy civil or infrastructure projects.
• Knowledge of construction processes and site procedures.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• Commitment to Health & Safety, QA/QC and environment.

Responsibilities

• Ensure health, safety, environmental and quality requirements are met.
• Support delivery of construction activities to programme and spec.
• Undertake setting out and engineering duties as required.
• Collaborate with site teams to maintain progress and resolve issues.
• Maintain accurate site documentation and inspection records.
• Monitor works against drawings and project requirements.
• Assist with planning, coordination and monitoring of site activities.
• Contribute to delivering the five-year South Wales framework.
