Job summary

Involve Recruitment Ltd. are recruiting for a Section Engineer on behalf of a leading Tier 1 civil engineering contractor in South Wales.

The role focuses on safe, efficient delivery of works on a five-year framework delivering major wastewater infrastructure projects. You will work with Site Managers and Project Engineers, undertake setting out, ensure QA/QC and health & safety compliance, and help maintain programme and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent qualification.
• Site-based civil engineering experience on heavy infrastructure projects.
• Understanding of construction processes and site procedures.
• Commitment to health and safety and QA/QC.

Responsibilities

• Ensure Health & Safety, Environmental and Quality (QA/QC) compliance on site.
• Support delivery of construction activities to programme and specification.
• Undertake setting out and engineering duties as required.
• Coordinate with Site Managers, Supervisors and Project Engineers to resolve issues.
• Maintain accurate site documentation and records.
