Navartis Ltd in Birmingham seeks a Senior Civil Engineer to lead civil works for residential housing projects from feasibility through to completion.

You will oversee roads, drainage, earthworks and utilities, review designs and provide technical support to site teams on a full-time basis.

The role offers a salary of £65,000-£70,000 plus car allowance and discretionary bonus, with a permanent, office-based arrangement.

Job title: Senior Civil Engineer

An established, privately owned residential developer is looking for a Senior Civil Engineer playing a key role in delivering new housing projects.

You will be working within a small team, taking a collaborative approach overseeing projects from initial land acquisition through to completion.

You will need experience working on roads and drainages.

Key responsibilities for this Senior Civil Engineer role:

• Assess potential residential development sites, identifying civil engineering constraints.
• Review and coordinate civil engineering designs, drawings, specifications and technical submissions.
• Provide technical support to site teams.
• Oversee the delivery and adoption of roads, drainage and associated infrastructure, including relevant Section 38, Section 104 and Section 278 agreement.
• Review engineers' drawings, specifications, calculations and technical reports

Experience required for this Senior Civil Engineer role:

• Experience in civil engineering, ideally within residential development or housebuilding.
• Experience of working on housing developments from feasibility/planning through to construction and completion.
• Strong knowledge of residential roads, drainage, levels, earthworks, utilities and infrastructure.
