Job summary

Millbank Holdings Ltd is seeking a Senior Civil Engineer to take ownership of civil infrastructure design packages from concept to detailed design on major projects, including nuclear and defence sectors within the UK. You will lead and mentor junior engineers in a collaborative team, delivering high-quality drainage, earthworks and highway schemes.

Applicants should hold a Civil Engineering degree with ICE chartership or near-chartered status, with strong experience in UK standards and Autodesk

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering with Chartered or near-Chartered status through ICE or similar
• Proven experience in drainage, earthworks, SUDS, pavements and utility design for UK projects
• Strong working knowledge of Autodesk Civil 3D and AutoCAD in a design consultancy environment
• Understanding of UK standards and approvals (S38, S278, S104)
• Eligibility to obtain UK Security Clearance for nuclear/defence projects

Responsibilities

• Take technical responsibility for the delivery of civil infrastructure design packages from concept through to detailed design
• Coordinate and guide small design teams, contributing to multidisciplinary project delivery
• Produce, check and approve engineering calculations, drawings and digital models
• Review third-party and subcontractor design outputs for technical compliance and quality
• Provide technical input into bids, proposals and project documentation while mentoring junior staff

Your duties and responsibilities will be
