Job summary

Aldwych Consulting in Cambridge is seeking a Civil Engineer or Senior Civil Engineer to deliver development infrastructure across highways and drainage for residential and commercial projects. The role offers ownership of design work within a supportive team.

You will work on S38/S278/S104 agreements, produce detailed designs with Civil 3D and drainage tools, and coordinate with clients and authorities. Hybrid-friendly environment with strong career development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Degree qualified in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
• Working towards or holding ICE accreditation is advantageous.
• Consultancy experience delivering UK development infrastructure projects.
• Strong highways and drainage design background in residential/commercial schemes.

Responsibilities

• Design highways and drainage infrastructure and related S38/S278/S104 agreements.
• Produce detailed infrastructure designs using Civil 3D and drainage software.
• Collaborate with architects, planners, clients and authorities to deliver coordinated solutions.
• Manage projects through planning and detailed design with quality control and schedule adherence.
• Mentor junior engineers and work within a multidisciplinary team.
