Job summary

Stantec is seeking a Senior Civil Engineer to join its Energy & Resources team in the UK. You will work across lifecycle stages from concept to site support, delivering innovative solutions for hydro, energy-from-waste, transmission and other energy projects.

You will collaborate with project managers and clients, contributing to advisory and delivery roles while integrating civil, structural, geotechnical and M&E inputs for fully coordinated designs.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited institution.
• Progress towards Chartered Engineer status with the Engineering Council and ICE.
• Experience in civil design across waterpower, hydropower, energy-from-waste, transmission and distribution.

Responsibilities

• Lead civil design from concept through detailed design and site support.
• Perform Owner’s Engineer duties and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams.
• Deliver technically robust, coordinated designs across civil, structural, geotechnical and M&E disciplines.
