Job summary

Stantec in the UK is seeking a Senior Civil Engineer to join the Energy & Resources team on diverse energy projects across the lifecycle, from concept to site support.

You will work on hydropower and pumped storage schemes alongside energy-from-waste and transmission projects, collaborating with clients, managers, and technical leaders in a multidisciplinary setting across UK offices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited institution.
• Progress towards Chartered Engineer status with the Engineering Council and ICE.
• Experience in civil design across sectors: waterpower and dams; hydropower and pumped storage; energy from waste; transmission and distribution projects.

Responsibilities

• Involved in projects across the full lifecycle—from concept design through to detailed design and site support.
• Work within a dynamic, multidisciplinary team delivering innovative engineering solutions across a wide range of complex energy projects.
• Collaborate with project managers, technical leaders, and clients in advisory and delivery roles.
