Job summary

Stantec is seeking a Senior Civil Engineer to join its Energy & Resources team in the UK. You will contribute to projects across waterpower, hydro, energy-from-waste, nuclear, hydrogen generation and transmission & distribution, from concept through detailed design and site support.

You will work within a multidisciplinary team delivering innovative engineering solutions, collaborating with project managers, technical leaders, and clients across advisory and delivery roles.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering (accredited).
• Progress towards Chartered Engineer status with the Engineering Council and ICE.
• Experience in civil design across Waterpower and dams, Hydropower and pumped storage, energy from waste, and transmission and distribution.
• Ability to collaborate across disciplines (civil, structural, geotechnical, M&E).

Responsibilities

• Lead projects from concept design through to detailed design and site support.
• Deliver innovative engineering solutions across a wide range of energy projects.
• Collaborate closely with project managers, technical leaders and clients.
• Provide Owner’s Engineer duties and contractor-facing design support.
