Job summary

Stantec is seeking a Senior Civil Engineer to join the UK Energy & Resources team. You will work across lifecycle stages on hydropower, energy-from-waste, nuclear, and transmission projects while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering is required or preferred.
• Progress towards Chartered Engineer status with Engineering Council and ICE is expected.
• Experience in civil design across waterpower, hydropower, energy-from-waste, and transmission projects.

Responsibilities

• Involved in full lifecycle from concept design to detailed design and site support.
• Deliver innovative engineering solutions across energy projects.
• Collaborate with project managers, technical leaders, and clients on advisory and delivery roles.
• Engage in Owner’s Engineer duties, design coordination, and due diligence activities.
