NEOS Engineering is recruiting for a Senior Engineer to lead earthworks and infrastructure works on the HS2 project in Aylesbury. The role combines site engineering, surveying, QA and construction planning, offering a clear path to progress within a major infrastructure environment.

We are seeking an experienced Civil Engineer with a strong background in earthworks, RAMS/ITPs and QA processes, eligible for ICE membership and progression toward IEng status.

Qualifications

• 4+ years' experience in Civil Engineering, with earthworks focus.
• Experience on major infrastructure or complex construction projects.
• Strong surveying, setting out and QA knowledge.
• Experience with GNSS surveying and 3D machine control.
• ICE membership eligibility and progression towards IEng.

Responsabilités

• Carry out GNSS-based site surveys and setting out for earthworks.
• Use batter rails, travellers and stakeouts for accurate construction.
• Review and validate 3D machine control models.
• Interpret drawings, specs and works information.
• Coordinate earthworks with foremen and site teams.
• Prepare and maintain RAMS, ITPs and checklists.
• Manage QA processes and checks before works commence.
• Support short-term planning and rolling-wave planning.
