NEOS Engineering is recruiting a Project Engineer to join an established contractor on the HS2 project in Aylesbury. You will take ownership of complex earthworks and infrastructure projects, guiding them from planning through delivery.

The role involves acting as technical authority, coordinating with clients, subcontractors, planning and HSEQ teams to ensure safety, quality and schedule. Chartered status with ICE or working towards it is preferred, with opportunities for long-term career

PROJECT ENGINEER

NEOS Engineering are currently recruiting for a Project Engineer to join an established engineering contractor working on the major HS2 project in Aylesbury.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Project Engineer / Civil Engineer with a strong background in earthworks or major infrastructure to take ownership of complex engineering projects and play a key role in their successful delivery.

THE ROLE

As Project Engineer, you'll act as a key technical authority on the project, providing engineering guidance and oversight across the full project lifecycle — from initial planning and design through to execution and completion.

You'll work closely with clients, subcontractors, commercial, planning and HSEQ teams, ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently, on programme and to the required quality standards.

ABOUT YOU

• Extensive experience within earthworks, civil engineering or major infrastructure.
• A proven track record of delivering complex projects to high standards of quality and safety.
• Strong technical knowledge across core civil engineering disciplines.
• Experience working within demanding construction environments.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong project management and commercial awareness.
• The ability to make sound technical decisions and resolve issues proactively.
• Chartered status with ICE or actively working towards Chartered status.
• A proactive, organised approach with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
