RSK Land Development and Engineering (LDE) Ltd, part of the RSK Group, is looking for a Senior Civil/Infrastructure Engineer to join the team in Wigan, UK. This is a full-time, permanent position.

RSK LDE Ltd was established in 2003, bringing together experienced design engineers to strengthen RSK's capabilities. The team comprises professional civil and structural engineers with extensive experience in assessment, design, and construction of major development projects.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver infrastructure project designs on schedule and within budget.
• Contribute to engineering strategies and ensure compliance.
• Negotiate technical approvals for adoptable works (S104, S38, S278, etc.).
• Ensure designs meet current Codes of Practice.
• Maintain effective communication with the design team and stakeholders.
• Adhere to LDE’s quality procedures.
• Assist in fee preparation and managing project budgets.
• Mentor and manage junior staff.
• Assist with technical report production.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Knowledge of highway design, ground modelling, drainage design, hydraulic modelling, and sustainable drainage systems.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, PDS/XP Site 3D (or similar), Microdrainage Windes/Flow (or similar), and Microsoft Office.
• Ideally 5+ years of experience in a similar sector within a consultancy.
• Degree or HNC level education.
