Our client is an award-winning, multidisciplinary design consultancy currently seeking a Civil Design Engineer with 5+ years of experience.

Your role involves completing drainage design for various residential and commercial projects based in Ireland.

This position is remote, as projects are based in Ireland.

Role

The civil engineer will ensure design works meet the client’s requirements.

Essential Skills and Knowledge

• BEng (Level 8) in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• 5+ years of experience in civil project design, including roads and drainage.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• A proactive attitude and commitment to quality service.
• Knowledge of UK, Irish, and European codes.
• Experience with AutoCAD, Revit, Civil 3D, or similar civil engineering design software.
• Proficiency in MS Word and Excel.
• Eligibility to work in the UK.

Desirable Skills and Knowledge

• Knowledge of civil engineering products (e.g., drainage, road design pipes, manholes, shafts, cover slabs).
• Membership of or working towards membership of a professional institution (e.g., ICE), with a desire to attain Chartered Engineer status.
