Our client is an award-winning, multidisciplinary design consultancy currently looking to recruit a Civil Design Engineer with 5+ years of experience.

Your role will involve completing drainage design for various residential and commercial projects based in Ireland.

This position allows for remote working, as the projects are based in Ireland.

Role

The civil engineer shall ensure design works are completed according to the client’s requirements.

Essential Skills and Knowledge

• BEng (Level 8) in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• Over 5 years of experience in civil project design, including roads and drainage.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• A proactive attitude and commitment to delivering high-quality service.
• Knowledge of UK, Irish, and European codes.
• Experience with AutoCAD, Revit, Civil 3D, or similar civil engineering design software.
• Proficiency in MS Word and Excel.
• Eligibility to work in the UK.

Desirable Skills and Knowledge

• Knowledge of civil engineering products (e.g., drainage, road design pipes, manholes, shafts, cover slabs).
• Membership or progress towards membership of a professional institution (e.g., ICE) and a desire to attain Chartered Engineer status.
