Job summary

Une société de conception pluridisciplinaire primée recherche un ingénieur civil avec plus de 5 ans d expérience pour concevoir des systèmes de drainage et des projets civils variés. Ce rôle est entièrement à distance, en permettant une grande flexibilité tout en servant des clients en Irlande. Les candidats doivent avoir une solide formation en ingénierie civile (BEng) et être familiarisés avec les logiciels de conception civils.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 ans d'expérience dans la conception de projets civils.
• Connaissance des produits d'ingénierie civile tels que le drainage et la conception routière.
• Expérience évidente avec AutoCAD et logiciels similaires.

Responsibilities

• Compléter la conception du drainage pour des projets résidentiels et commerciaux.
• Assurer que les travaux de conception répondent aux exigences du client.
• Travailler sur des projets basés en Irlande en tant que position à distance.

Our client is an award-winning, multidisciplinary design consultancy currently looking to recruit a Civil Design Engineer with 5+ years of experience.

Your role within the company will be to complete drainage design on a variety of residential and commercial projects based in Ireland.

Since the projects are based in Ireland, this role is a remote working position.

ROLE

The civil engineer shall ensure that design works are completed according to the Client’s requirements.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE

• BEng (Level 8) in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• 5+ years’ experience in the design of civil projects including roads and drainage.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• A ‘can-do’ attitude and a desire to deliver excellent service quality.
• Knowledge of UK, Irish, and European codes.
• Experience in AutoCAD, Revit, Civils 3D, and/or similar civil engineering design software.
• Proficiency in MS Word and Excel.
• Must be eligible to work in the UK.

DESIRABLE SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE

• Knowledge of civil engineering products (e.g., drainage, road design, pipes, manholes, shafts, cover slabs).
• Membership of or working towards membership of an appropriate professional institution (e.g., ICE) and a desire to attain Chartered Engineer status.
