Our client is an award-winning, multidisciplinary design consultancy currently looking to recruit a Civil Design Engineer with 5+ years of experience.

Your role within the company will involve completing drainage design for a variety of residential and commercial projects based in Ireland.

As the projects are based in Ireland, this role is a remote working position.

ROLE

The civil engineer shall ensure that design works are completed according to the client’s requirements.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE

• BEng (Level 8) in Civil Engineering or equivalent
• 5+ years’ experience in the design of civil projects, including roads and drainage
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• A 'can do' attitude and a commitment to providing high-quality service
• Knowledge of UK, Irish, and European codes
• Experience in AutoCAD, Revit, Civil 3D, or similar civil engineering design software
• Proficiency in MS Word and Excel
• Must be eligible to work in the UK

DESIRABLE SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE

• Knowledge of civil engineering products (e.g., drainage, road design, pipes, manholes, shafts, cover slabs)
• Membership of or working towards membership of a professional institution (e.g., ICE) and a desire to attain Chartered Engineer status
