Job summary

Alexander Associates in Welwyn Hatfield seeks a Senior Civil Engineer to lead design delivery across commercial, industrial and data‑centre projects. You will produce detailed civil designs, calculations and specifications and manage feasibility through to construction.

You will mentor junior engineers, coordinate with authorities and stakeholders, and support site queries. A degree in civil engineering and strong consultancy experience with Civil 3D/AutoCAD are essential, with knowledge of UK

Qualifications

• Must have a degree in Civil Engineering and consultancy experience in civil design.
• Proficient in Civil 3D/AutoCAD and drainage modelling tools.
• Knowledge of UK standards (DMRB, Sewers for Adoption, SuDS Manual).
• Strong analytical, communication and problem‑solving skills.
