RGB Network in London is seeking a Senior Civil Engineer to take ownership of technically interesting projects across highways, drainage and infrastructure. This hands-on design role covers from initial concept through to detailed design and delivery.

You will work on highway and drainage schemes, S278/S38/S104, and collaborate with clients, architects and contractors. A 4-7 year background in civil engineering and strong AutoCAD/Civil 3D skills are essential, with hybrid working offered.

Qualifications

• 4-7 years' experience within civil engineering consultancy.
• Strong experience in highway and/or drainage design.
• Experience with S278, S38 and/or S104 schemes.
• Strong AutoCAD experience.
• Civil Engineering degree or relevant equivalent qualification.
• Strong communication skills to work with clients and project teams.

Responsabilités

• Take projects from feasibility through to detailed design and delivery.
• Design highways, drainage and infrastructure across varied development projects.
• Prepare technical reports, specifications, calculations and drawings.
• Coordinate with clients, architects, contractors and multidisciplinary teams.
• Support project delivery, programmes and technical coordination.
• Review designs and provide input to junior engineers.

Are you a Civil Engineer looking for your next step within a growing consultancy where you can take ownership of technically interesting projects across highways, drainage and infrastructure?

We're working with an established engineering consultancy in London who are looking to appoint a Senior Civil Engineer with around 4-7 years' experience to join their civil engineering team.

The Role

This is a hands-on design role with the opportunity to take projects from initial concept through to detailed design and delivery, working across a varied portfolio of development and infrastructure projects.

You'll be involved in:

• Highway and infrastructure design from feasibility through to detailed design
• Drainage design and drainage strategies, including SuDS
• Highway alignments, junctions, access roads and associated infrastructure
• S278, S38 and S104 schemes
• Technical reports, specifications, calculations and design drawings
• Working with clients, architects, contractors and wider multidisciplinary teams
• Supporting project delivery, programmes and technical coordination
• Reviewing designs and providing technical input to junior engineers
• Contributing to client meetings and helping develop strong project relationships

About You

We're looking for someone with:

• 4-7 years' experience within civil engineering consultancy
• Strong experience in highway and/or drainage design
• Experience working on development infrastructure projects
• Good understanding of UK highway and drainage standards
• Experience with S278, S38 and/or S104 schemes
• Strong AutoCAD experience
• Experience with Civil 3D, MicroDrainage, InfoDrainage or similar would be highly beneficial
• A Civil Engineering degree or relevant equivalent qualification
• Strong communication skills and the confidence to work directly with clients and project teams
