Job summary

LA International is seeking a 3rd Line Citrix SME to provide expert support for a major UK secure customer. The role requires on-site work in Preston with START ASAP and an end date of 31/03/2027.

Applicants must be ready for security clearance and possess strong Citrix expertise across XenApp/XenDesktop, Cloud, NetScaler, and WEM. You will handle incident escalations, drive problem records, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and maintain Citrix environments while

Qualifications

• Proven experience in third-line support for Citrix environments.
• Strong knowledge of Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops, Citrix Cloud, NetScaler, and WEM.
• Experience with Windows Server, Active Directory, Group Policy, and FSLogix.
• Good understanding of ITIL processes and enterprise support models.
• Experience with VMware/Hyper-V/XenServer; Ivanti knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide third-line technical support for incident escalations and problem records.
• Lead diagnosis and resolution across Citrix platforms.
• Manage Citrix policies, profiles, and user experience.
• Collaborate with architecture and engineering teams to design and implement Citrix solutions.
• Support patching, upgrades, and migrations of Citrix components.
• Proactive problem management and root cause analysis.
• Engage with internal and cross-capability teams and customers.
• Maintain high quality customer service and adhere to service management principles.
