Job summary

LA International Computer Consultants Ltd is recruiting for a 3rd Line Citrix Engineer to work on-site for a Preston-based client. Active SC clearance is required, with the contract falling Inside IR35.

The role emphasizes Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops, Citrix Cloud, NetScaler ADC and WEM, plus Microsoft OS and ITIL-based enterprise support. Candidates should have strong experience with Windows Server, Active Directory, Group Policy and FSLogix, along with VMware/Hyper-V/XenServer.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a third line support role.
• Experience with Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops, Citrix Cloud and related Citrix tech.
• Experience with Windows Server, Active Directory and FSLogix.
• Strong ITIL knowledge and enterprise support experience.
• VMware/Hyper-V/XenServer experience.
• Desirable knowledge of UK Secure Paradox solution (Becypt).
• Analytics knowledge in Systrack or Nexthink (training provided).
• Knowledge of Microsoft OS including Windows 10 and Windows 11.

Job description

We have a new requirement for a 3rd Line Citrix Engineer to work for a client of ours based in Preston.

All work will be completed on-site and active SC is required.

This contract role has been determined as falling Inside IR35.

Skills required:

• Proven experience within a Third Line Support role
• Strong knowledge of Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops, Citrix Cloud, NetScaler ADC, and Citrix Workspace Environment Management (WEM).
• Experience with Windows Server, Active Directory, Group Policy, and FSLogix.
• Strong understanding of ITIL processes and enterprise support models.
• Operations - VMWare, HyperV, XenServer, Invanti
• Desirable to have a working knowledge of supporting UK Secure Paradox solution (Becypt).
• Analytics, specifically Systrack/Nexthink (Non Essential - training provided).
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft based operating systems, including, Windows 10 & Win11
