Job summary

Esland are seeking a Senior Children's Home Support Worker to join our nurturing teams in the UK. You will build positive relationships, support young people and work in our 365-day residential homes with a shift pattern including sleep-ins.

The role requires a Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare, 12 months’ care experience, and a UK driving licence. We offer progression routes, paid induction, and staff benefits through a dedicated app.

Qualifications

• Minimum 12 months experience in a children's residential care home.
• Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare is essential.
• UK driving licence is essential.
• Must have right to work in the UK with no restrictions.
• In depth knowledge of Ofsted regulations, expectations and best practice.
• Values in line with Esland's, such as taking a therapeutic, person-centred approach to childcare.
• Aged 21 or above due to industry regulations.

Salary: £35,848.00 to £39,274.00 per annum. (including 10 sleeps per month paid at £60 per sleep and an hourly rate of £13.80 to £15.45 per hour depending on qualification).Opportunities to pick up overtime at enhanced rate.
Hours: 173 hours per month - shift pattern is 2 days on, 4 days off, with sleep in’s. Rotas given in advance. We are a 365 day a year service due to the nature of our work.
