Job summary

Service Care Solutions Ltd is seeking a Senior Residential support worker to join a national children's residential support company in the Newthorpe area of Nottingham. These are permanent positions with a salary up to £35,000 (dependent on experience) plus £60 sleep-ins on top of this.

The rota is set at least 4 weeks in advance with shifts between 8am-11pm; you will usually do 2 days on, followed by 4 days off.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a QCF Level 3, or willingness to work towards this.
• Enhanced DBS check.
• Right to work in the UK - sponsorship not available.

Responsibilities

• Provide a warm, caring and enabling environment
• Meet the emotional, social and physical needs of looked-after children and young people
• Support children who may present with complex or challenging behaviours
• Advocate for children and model a positive "good parent" role
