Delphi Care Solutions is seeking a Senior Residential Support Worker for a children's home in Derbyshire. You will lead shifts, deliver high-quality care, and work with management to promote safeguarding and positive outcomes.

The role involves mentoring staff, managing safeguarding concerns, and supporting children to develop life skills. Sleep-ins and overtime opportunities are available, with ongoing training and progression.

Qualifications

• Experience in a children's residential care setting.
• Senior RSW experience or readiness to progress into a senior role.
• Excellent safeguarding knowledge and professional judgement.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to remain calm and resilient in challenging situations.
• Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and sleep-ins.
• Full UK Driving Licence.

Responsibilities

• Lead shifts and support the day-to-day running of the home.
• Provide high-quality, child-centred care and emotional support.
• Act as a positive role model for young people and colleagues.
• Support children to develop confidence, independence and life skills.
• Mentor Residential Support Workers on shift.
• Manage safeguarding concerns and promote safe practice.
• Administer medication and maintain accurate records.
• Build strong relationships with families and partner agencies.
• Contribute to care planning and achieving positive outcomes.
