Job summary

Keys Group is recruiting a Children’s Activity Based Support Worker in Wrexham to provide overnight, on-site care and engagement for youths aged 8-18. The role combines daily care with adventure-based activities and a structured 12-week program to build confidence and resilience.

Candidates must be over 21 with a full UK driving licence and be prepared for a 39-hour weekly rota including sleep-ins. The employer covers enhanced DBS renewals and ongoing qualifications support.

Qualifications

• Must be over 21 and hold a full UK driver’s license.
• Commitment to 39 hours per week with 4 days on, 8 days off including sleep-ins.
• Eligibility to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Build nurturing relationships with young people and provide daily care.
• Lead adventurous activities such as rock climbing, mountain biking and kayaking.
• Ensure safety and well-being, support personal and social development.
• Collaborate with the team to create a safe, engaging environment for residents.
• Complete required Induction and ongoing professional development.
