Job summary

Keys Group is seeking a Senior Children’s Activity Based Support Worker for Wrexham (LL11). You will reside at the activities centre during working days, providing consistent support, daily care, and engaging outdoor activities for young people aged 8-18 facing social, emotional, and mental health challenges.

The role involves a 39-hour week with a rota pattern, sleep-ins, and a competitive hourly rate (£14.95–£15.55) plus a sleep allowance up to £6,000 per year.

Qualifications

• Must be over 21 and hold a full UK driver’s license.
• Commitment to 39 hours per week with 4 days on, 8 days off shift including sleep-ins.
• Must have right to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Build nurturing relationships with young people, providing emotional stability and daily care.
• Lead adventurous activities such as rock climbing, mountain biking, and kayaking to foster confidence.
• Work within a supportive team to create a safe, caring, and stimulating environment for the children.
• Provide consistent care during overnight stays at the activities centre.
