Job summary

Ramboll Energy in London is seeking a Chief Engineer to lead electrification efforts across high, medium and low voltage systems for process industries, aligning with clients and multidisciplinary teams.

You will guide design, technical scope, and Owners Engineer activities, while developing power system solutions for plants, Power-to-X, oil and gas projects, and contribute to sales and client advisory work.

Qualifications

• B.Sc./B.Eng. Electrical Engineering or MSc equivalent.
• Experience in Power Systems & LV/MV engineering.
• Experience independently managing projects and teams.
• Commercial mindset and business acumen.
• Strong oral and written English skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead design of LV and MV systems according to standards.
• Lead technical scope and small/mid-size teams.
• Act as client’s technical advisor and Owners Engineer.
• Prepare specs for transformers, switchgear, cables, earthing & lightning protection.
• Support procurement with technical clarifications.
• Participate in factory and site acceptance tests.
• Contribute to sales and proposal work.
