Job summary

The Ivy Collection in Royal Tunbridge Wells is seeking a Senior Chef de Partie to maintain the quality and consistency of dishes across sections. You will take ownership of your area, train and mentor junior chefs, and work closely with kitchen seniors to uphold our service standards.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Chef de Partie or similar role in a professional kitchen.
• Strong culinary skills with a passion for cooking.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of kitchen equipment, food safety practices, and high culinary techniques.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook high-quality dishes according to recipes and standards.
• Set up and stock their assigned section with necessary supplies and ingredients.
• Collaborate closely with prep chefs to monitor inventory and ensure correct daily par levels across all sections.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of work areas, adhering to food safety.
• Follow instructions from the Senior Management to ensure consistency and quality in every dish.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
