Job summary

Platinum Recruitment is partnering with a reputable 4-star townhouse hotel in Central London to recruit a Senior Chef de Partie. You will work in a central London kitchen, preparing and presenting British and Western Mediterranean dishes while leading and mentoring junior chefs.

Live-in accommodation is not available; daily commuting to central London is required. The role offers a competitive salary and progression opportunities within a dynamic, dedicated team.

Qualifications

• Experience as Chef de Partie or Senior Chef de Partie in a fast-paced kitchen.
• Strong knowledge of food hygiene and safety standards.
• Able to commute to central London daily; live-in accommodation not available.

Responsibilities

• Support breakfast service twice a week and cover holidays for the Breakfast Chef.
• Prepare, cook, and present dishes based on British and Western Mediterranean cuisine.
• Manage and train junior chefs.
• Ensure high standards of food hygiene and safety.
• Monitor portion sizes and waste to optimise profit.
• Assist with menu development and maintain consistency in food quality.
