We’re looking for an experiencedSenior Chef de Partie to join our luxury hotel situated in the heart of the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea.
The Role
As a Senior Chef de Partie, you will be a key part of our culinary team, working under the guidance of the Sous Chef and Head Chef to maintain high standards of food preparation, presentation, and hygiene across your section. You’ll also help lead and inspire junior chefs, ensuring smooth and efficient kitchen operations in line with our luxury hospitality standards.
Your main duties include:
Taking full responsibility for your section, ensuring food quality, consistency, and service excellence.
Supporting the Sous Chef in supervising junior kitchen team members and contributing to their ongoing training and development.
Assisting with stock control, ordering, and waste management to help achieve food cost targets.
Ensuring all food is prepared and presented in line with health & safety and hygiene regulations.
Actively participating in menu development and suggesting new dishes or improvements.
Contributing to a positive team culture and maintaining a clean and organised work environment.
About you
We are looking for a passionate and motivated chef with strong culinary skills and leadership qualities. You will have experience in a similar role within a hotel or fine dining environment, with a genuine enthusiasm for high-quality cuisine and a desire to progress within the kitchen brigade.
You will also have:
Previous experience as a Chef de Partie or Senior Chef de Partie in a high-quality kitchen
Excellent culinary knowledge with a keen eye for detail and presentation
Strong understanding of food hygiene and health & safety regulations
Good organisational skills and the ability to work under pressure
A collaborative mindset and the ability to motivate others
A flexible and proactive approach with a desire to learn and grow
