Job summary

Impact Recruitment Services seeks a senior leader for a Business Area Manager - Certification in Kettering. The role combines people management, operational performance, commercial responsibility and regulatory compliance within a specialist certification environment.

You will lead teams, manage budgets and KPIs, and drive continuous improvement while maintaining high standards of customer service and regulatory compliance. UK and international travel are required.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership experience with high-performing teams.
• Strong operational management with KPIs, service targets and budgets.
• Technical background in certification, conformity assessment, testing or another regulated environment.
• Ability to understand and interpret technical standards and regulatory requirements.
• Experience managing budgets, forecasts and financial performance.
• Excellent communication, presentation and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead certification teams to deliver against customer expectations and targets.
• Manage departmental performance against budgets, KPIs and strategic objectives.
• Own financial performance, forecasting, budgets and reporting.
• Drive continuous improvement, operational efficiency and service delivery.
• Develop team capability through coaching, performance management and succession planning.
• Manage resources and workloads to meet customer and business requirements.
• Build strong relationships with key customers, industry stakeholders and trade associations.
• Identify new business opportunities and support commercial growth.
