Job summary

American International Group, Inc. in London is seeking a Senior Catastrophe Risk Analyst to join Talbot Underwriting's Exposure Management team. You will support cyber and political violence lines, collaborate with underwriting, reinsurance and analytics teams, and drive data quality improvements across exposure models.

The role offers in-office collaboration and a chance to influence risk strategy while working with global teams across a diversified portfolio including property and terrorism.

Qualifications

• 3+ years' experience in a relevant role such as catastrophe modelling, exposure management or cyber risk.
• Understanding of cyber and/or political violence insurance.
• Ability to extract data and build reports.

Responsibilities

• Support the Exposure Management Manager and analysts on cyber and political violence lines.
• Collaborate with underwriting, reinsurance and aggregation teams to ensure data completeness.
• Develop relationships with Group Analytics to leverage expertise.
• Drive data quality improvements and process development.
• Provide value-add analytics to the wider business.
• Validate and run models measuring Talbot's cyber exposure.
• Assist with regulatory reporting such as bi-annual and annual processes.
