Job summary

Talbot Underwriting, part of AIG, is seeking a Senior Catastrophe Risk Analyst to join our Exposure Management team. You will support cyber and political violence lines, collaborate with stakeholders, and help ensure accurate exposure data and model results.

The role emphasizes data quality, process improvement, and regulatory reporting, with in-person collaboration in our London office. You should have 3+ years’ experience, a relevant degree, and strong SQL/R skills; knowledge of

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in catastrophe risk/exposure management or related roles.
• Understanding of Cyber and/or Political Violence insurance.
• Good understanding of data extraction and report building.
• Strong SQL and R skills.

Responsibilities

• Support the Exposure Management Manager and team on Political Violence and Cyber lines with potential involvement in Nat Cat.
• Collaborate with Underwriting, Reinsurance and Aggregation to ensure data completeness and accuracy.
• Develop relationships with Group Analytics to leverage expertise.
• Drive data quality improvements and process development.
• Provide value-added analytics to the wider business.
• Validate and run models measuring Cyber exposure.
• Assist with regulatory reporting requirements (RDS, SBF, etc.).
