Job summary

Talbot Underwriting, part of AIG, is seeking a Senior Catastrophe Risk Analyst in London to strengthen the Exposure Management team. The role involves working on Political Violence and Cyber lines, coordinating with underwriting and analytics to enhance data quality and model outputs.

You will contribute to regulatory reporting and process improvements while leveraging your experience in catastrophe modelling and data analytics to deliver value across the business.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in catastrophe modelling, exposure management or related roles.
• Degree in a relevant subject is preferable.
• Understanding of Cyber and/or Political Violence insurance applications.
• Strong data extraction and report-building capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Support the Exposure Management Manager and collaborate with analysts on Political Violence and Cyber lines.
• Engage with Underwriting, Reinsurance and Aggregation teams to ensure data completeness and accuracy.
• Develop relationships with Group Analytics to leverage expertise.
• Drive data quality improvements and process development.
• Provide value-added analytics to the wider business.
• Validate and run models measuring Talbot’s Cyber exposure; support regulatory reporting.
