Qualifications

• Experience in catastrophe modelling within the insurance, reinsurance or broking market.
• Knowledge of specialty classes and reinsurance structures would be advantageous.
• Experience with major catastrophe modelling platforms such as Moody's RMS or Verisk AIR.
• Strong analytical and data interpretation skills.
• SQL, VBA, R or other programming skills are beneficial.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work directly with clients and senior stakeholders.
• A collaborative individual looking to develop within a high-performing analytics team.

Responsibilities

• Delivering catastrophe modelling and portfolio analysis across specialty classes
• Supporting clients with risk insights, portfolio optimisation and bespoke analytical projects
• Leading renewal modelling exercises and assessing catastrophe risk using industry-leading models
• Evaluating model updates and communicating their impact to stakeholders
• Providing real-time event response and post-loss analysis
• Developing new analytical solutions alongside internal teams and external partners
• Mentoring junior analysts and supporting team development
