Job summary

Caring Homes is seeking a Senior Carer for Broadbridge Park, Horsham. The role involves delivering high-quality, person-centered care to residents in a 71-bed nursing, dementia and residential home. You will assist with daily living activities, administer medications, and mentor junior staff.

The position offers full-time or part-time hours with a competitive salary of £13.90 per hour. We provide ongoing training, DBS and Blue Light Card benefits, and a supportive work environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in a Senior Care Assistant or similar role in a residential/nursing home.
• NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care or equivalent.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, person-centered care to residents.
• Assist residents with daily living activities including personal hygiene, mobility and feeding.
• Administer medications and maintain accurate records where required.
• Support and mentor junior care staff, ensuring they provide excellent care.
• Develop and implement individual care plans with healthcare professionals and families.
