Job summary

Caring Homes Group Ltd is seeking a dedicated Senior Care Assistant for Horsell Lodge, Woking. The role is full-time, 36 hours per week, with 12-hour shifts and alternate weekends, at a 70-bed home delivering dementia, residential and nursing care.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Senior Care Assistant or in a similar role.
• NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Health and Social Care.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, person-centered care to residents.
• Assist residents with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, mobility, and feeding.
• Administer medications and maintain accurate records where required.
• Support and mentor junior care staff, ensuring they provide excellent care.
• Develop and implement individual care plans in collaboration with healthcare professionals and families.
• Conduct regular assessments and reviews to ensure the highest standards of care are maintained.
• Build positive relationships with residents, their families, and other staff members.

Ideal Candidate
