Job summary

Caregivers at Caring Homes Group Ltd. at Benson House in Benson, Wallingford, are invited to join as a Senior Care Assistant. You will provide high-quality, person-centered care and support residents with daily living activities, medication administration, and care plan updates.

We offer 12-hour shifts (8:00–20:00) with alternate weekends, a competitive hourly rate of £13.86, ongoing training and development opportunities, and a supportive team environment that values empathy and professionalism.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Senior Care Assistant or in a similar role.
• NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Health and Social Care.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, person-centered care to residents.
• Assist residents with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, mobility, and feeding.
• Administer medications and maintain accurate records where required.
• Support and mentor junior care staff, ensuring they provide excellent care.
• Develop and implement individual care plans in collaboration with healthcare professionals and families.
• Conduct regular assessments and reviews to ensure the highest standards of care are maintained.
• Build positive relationships with residents, their families, and other staff members.

Ideal Candidate
