Job summary

Barchester Healthcare is seeking a Residential Senior Carer to lead care staff, train teams, and delegate duties on shift at a residential home. You’ll support with medication administration, care plan reviews and risk assessments, working closely with GPs, district nurses and residents'' families to ensure wellbeing.

The ideal candidate will have NVQ Level 3 or Advanced Diploma in Health & Social Care and a track record of compassionate, person-centred care in a residential setting.

Qualifications

• The candidate will have NVQ Level 3 or Advanced Diploma in Health & Social Care.
• They should have prior experience in a residential care setting and proven leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of care staff on shifts including training and supervision.
• Administer and order medications, review care plans and risk assessments.
• Liaise with GPs, district nurses and resident families to support wellbeing.
• Ensure a warm, welcoming and person-centred environment for residents.
