Job summary

Barchester is seeking a Residential Senior Carer to lead a care team in a residential home. You will train staff, supervise shifts and delegate tasks to ensure high-quality, person-centred care.

You will assist with medication administration and help update resident care plans and risk assessments while coordinating with GPs, district nurses and families. The role requires NVQ Level 3 or an Advanced Diploma in Health & Social Care, with prior residential care experience and strong leadership

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 or Advanced Diploma in Health & Social Care required.
• Proven team leadership experience in a residential care setting.
• Warm-hearted, compassionate and able to provide individualised care.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of care staff, including training, supervisions and delegating duties.
• Assist with administering and ordering medications and updating care plans.
• Liaise with GPs, district nurses and residents' families to support wellbeing.
