Job summary

HC-One Ltd. is seeking a Senior Care Assistant in Yarm for night shifts (33 hours per week). You will lead a team of care colleagues, support residents with dementia and other needs, and help deliver personalised care plans.

The role involves medication administration, safeguarding records, and ongoing communication with residents and families. Ideal candidates will have a Level 2 Diploma in Adult Social Care, with a view to pursuing Level 3, and a caring, patient approach.

Qualifications

• Level 2 Diploma in Adult Social Care or equivalent is preferred.
• Level 3 qualification in Adult Social Care or equivalent is desirable.
• Experience with dementia care and person-centered planning is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of Care Assistants to maintain high standards of care.
• Assist the Registered Nurse and Care Manager with care delivery.
• Maintain accurate records and manage time effectively.
• Administer medications and support residents with daily activities.
