Job summary

Orwell Housing Association seeks a Team Leader for Levington Court, Lowestoft to oversee day-to-day operation and deliver person-centred care. You will guide a dedicated care team, ensure high-quality service, and support the Registered Manager in service delivery.

The role is 38 hours weekly, Monday to Friday, with a salary of £29,643.52 per year. You will engage with customers, coordinate care plans and contribute to recruitment, training and professional development.

Qualifications

• Level 3 in Health and Social Care or above.
• Supervisory qualification or commitment to achieve within 18-24 months.

Responsibilities

• Meet with new customers to assess their care and support needs with coordinated care.
• Lead by example, empowering and supporting the team to deliver high-quality care.
• Contribute to recruitment, induction and integration of new team members.
• Carry out regular reviews with customers and liaise with professionals to develop care plans.
• Deliver workshops and awareness sessions on key aspects of care provision.
• Provide one-to-one support to team members including supervision and appraisals.
