Job summary

Avocet Court Care Home in Ipswich is seeking a Team Leader to guide and support our care team in delivering high-quality, resident-centered care.

You will lead, supervise and develop staff, uphold our values of Celebrating Every Individual, and help residents achieve the best possible outcomes.

The role offers £15.25 per hour (including holiday uplift) with a flexible Monday–Sunday shift pattern, a comprehensive induction and ongoing development opportunities.

Qualifications

• A passion for care – residents come first.
• Experience in a similar senior care position.
• Must hold an NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care.
• Proven track record leading, empowering & motivating a team.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and direction to the care team on duty.
• Motivate and inspire the team to deliver exceptional care outcomes.
• Supervise, appraise and manage performance of care staff.
• Carry out enhanced clinical duties: observations of blood pressure, pulse, respiration, temperature and oxygenation; monitor urine output.
