Job summary

Bedford Citizens Housing Association (BCHA) is recruiting a Senior Care role for Bedford Charter House on Kimbolton Road. You will deliver high quality care, lead a care team, and ensure residents’ wellbeing through person-centred support and medication administration.

The role requires NVQ Level 3 and recent medications training. You must have the right to work in the UK. You will work within regulatory standards and contribute to care planning and documentation across shifts.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 qualification required.
• Recent medications training essential.
• Experience leading care teams and supporting residents.

Responsibilities

• Lead one of the care teams to provide personal care and support residents.
• Assist residents with personal care including washing, toileting, dressing and meals.
• Administer drugs/medication on your section and assist with orders and stock checks.
• Carry out assessments for new residents and prepare/update Care Plans.
• Attend handover meetings at the start of each shift and ensure proper documentation.
