Job summary

Cyngor Sir Ceredigion County Council is recruiting a Level 3 Care and Support Worker for the Children’s Safe Accommodation Team in Penmorfa, Aberaeron. The role involves day and night care within registered settings and requires a commitment to safeguarding and child-centered practice.

You will work a rolling rota, support the management team, and contribute to high-quality care. Welsh language skills are welcomed, with funded lessons if needed.

Qualifications

• Experience in children’s residential care or similar setting.
• Passion for promoting child‑centred practice.
• Ability to work flexible day and night shifts.

Responsibilities

• Provide care and support in registered settings.
• Work on rolling rota covering day and waking nights.
• Support the Registered and Assistant Manager and staff.
