Job summary

Hill Care is seeking a compassionate Senior Care Assistant to join our residential/nursing team in Ellesmere Port. You will lead junior staff, ensure high‑quality daily care, and support residents with dignity and respect.

You will develop care plans with health professionals and families, maintain records, and uphold safety standards. Requires NVQ2, 1 year supervisory experience, and 2 years' care experience.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 Health & Social Care is required.
• Level 3 Health & Social Care or working towards is required.
• Minimum 1 year supervisory experience in senior care.
• Minimum 2 years providing direct care in a care home.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily living activities with dignity.
• Develop and implement care plans with healthcare professionals.
• Communicate with residents, families, and care team.
• Supervise junior staff and provide leadership.
• Maintain accurate records of residents' progress.
• Ensure health and safety regulations compliance.
• Participate in training on best practices.
• Administer medications.
