Job summary

Hill Care is seeking a compassionate Senior Care Assistant to join our in-person team in the UK. You will supervise junior staff, develop and implement care plans, and ensure high-quality daily care for residents. Strong communication with families and healthcare professionals is essential.

Responsibilities include medication administration, maintaining records, and adherence to safety standards. Experience in senior care and IT record systems is preferred, with NVQ Level 2 required and Level 3

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 Health & Social Care required.
• Senior care experience essential and leadership ability expected.
• Familiar with care planning and patient records.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily living activities with dignity.
• Develop and implement individualised care plans with professionals and families.
• Communicate with residents, families and care team to ensure continuity of care.
• Supervise junior staff and provide guidance to the team.
• Maintain accurate resident progress records and changes in condition.
• Ensure health and safety compliance within the care home.
• Participate in training to stay updated on best practices.
• Administer medication to residents.
