Job summary

Avante Care & Support Ltd is opening a brand-new care home in Malling Grange, West Malling. You’ll join as part of the founding team on relief night shifts, earning £14.72–£15.22 per hour. Start at Pilgrims View in Snodland before transitioning to Malling Grange later this year.

Role focuses on leading care staff, delivering compassionate, person-centred care, and maintaining high standards under the Eden philosophy. NVQ3 in Health & Social Care is essential; DBS and uniform are provided.

• Compassionate, professional and proactive approach.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor Care Support Assistants to deliver person-centred care.

Join the opening team at Malling Grange, 2 Station Road North, West Malling, ME19 6XF - our brand-new, luxury and personalised care home opening in Autumn 2026.

Please note: Whilst Malling Grange is being prepared for opening, successful applicants will initially work at Pilgrims View, 19 Roberts Road, Snodland, ME6 5HL, before transferring to Malling Grange when the home opens.

About the Home Designed around luxurious interiors and modern care technology, Malling Grange will offer spacious en-suite bedrooms, elegant lounges, a café/bistro, cinema, hair salon, landscaped gardens, wellbeing spaces and four individually themed care suites.

We are building a passionate founding team who will bring warmth, professionalism, and dedication to every resident’s experience.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Lead and mentor Care Support Assistants to deliver exceptional, person-centred care
• Provide hands-on care and build meaningful connections with residents
• Manage the home in the absence of senior leadership
• Support training and development for colleagues
• Ensure high standards of care in line with Avante's Eden Alternative Philosophy

• Hold an NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care (essential)
• Are compassionate, professional, and proactive
